King Izzi, birth name Derrick Rose Jr., is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kingdom Studies Academy. King Izzi has been a service to the community in multiple ways, as a Minister, Recording Artist, Activist, Entrepreneur and much more. He has helped people reach for the best version of themselves, pursue their passions, and break generational curses while pointing them closer to The Creator.
In 2024, King Izzi was lead by The Most High, Yah, to start a community now called, Kingdom Studies Academy, in order to build the Kingdom of Yah on earth. King Izzi is fully committed to providing service to all who are serious about their growth, learning, success and fulfilling the purpose of why they were created.

King Izzi’s Road of Entrepreneurship
King Izzi began on his road of entrepreneurship right after high school, when he became a musical recording artist. Heavily influenced by church and music during his upbringing, King Izzi found solace in creativity. Music became his outlet—a way to express the depths of his emotions. But it wasn’t just about healing himself; he wanted to inspire others who faced similar struggles. Choosing the more challenging route, King Izzi remained an independent artist. His refusal to conform to industry norms allowed him to create authentic music that touched hearts. His genre, which he aptly calls “Kingdom Music,” defies labels—it’s a fusion of spirituality, raw emotion, and universal themes.In 2021, King Izzi got his first taste of full time entrepreneurship when he got into the financial services industry. Learning a lot more about business and helping solve people’s problems, King Izzi began to really evolve into a businessman. Still servicing the community as a minister, youth mentor, and recording artist, King Izzi, also consistently hit the streets as an activist to not only be a voice for the people but an actual helping hand for those who can’t help themselves.
Impactful Music and Community Involvement
Outside of Kingdom Studies Academy, King Izzi still makes impactful music for the masses. From city to city, King Izzi’s music has resonated with audiences. His concerts, shows, and community events became platforms for change. Through his lyrics, he shared stories of resilience, hope, and overcoming adversity. King Izzi has faced unimaginable hardships. His life story is one of resilience, creativity, and unwavering determination. His life has been marked by heart-wrenching losses. Losing a daughter as a stillborn, witnessing his older brother’s murder, and experiencing the tragic death of a first cousin—all within consecutive years—left scars that could have broken anyone. Leaving his hometown of Cleveland Ohio behind, King Izzi headed to California. There, he started a new chapter—a family, a spiritual journey, a community and a commitment to growth.
